Arjun Ramu (born 19 March 1986 in Bangalore) is an Indian music composer and singer. He debuted in mainstream cinema as music director of Kannada-language film Selfie[1], released in 2016. Arjun works primarily in Kannada films. His song Valase Bandavare won the singer Tejaswi Hariprasad, the Best Singer award at Karnataka State Awards 2017[2]. His other notable works include Nanna Prakara[3], Bachelor Party[4][5] and Maryade Prashne.[6][7]
Career
[edit]Arjun's breakthrough in Kannada cinema was with the 2017 film Huliraaya.[8][9] His work in Huliraaya was praised by both audience and critics. After Huliraya, Arjun went on to compose for movies Nanna Prakara, Demo Piece[10] and Telugu movie Chaitanyam.[11]
In 2024, Arjun collaborated with Abhijith Mahesh for the movie Bachelor Party produced by Rakshit Shetty (Paramvhah Studios). His other releases include Maryade Prashne produced by Sakkath Studios.
