Battle of Tiruvadi was a significant battle took place at Thiruvadi, Tamil Nadu in 1678, between the Maratha forces and the Bijapur army under Sher Khan, the governor of Walingandapuram.[1] However, the Bijapur forces were defeated, Sher Khan was put to flight and surrendered on 6th July.[2][3]
