The Battle of Al-Halwa, which the people of Al Halwa call it the "Battle of the Romans", and which Ibn Bishr described it in his history as “the great epic of Najd” that humiliated the Turks, is a battle that took place in the Year 1837 between the people of Al-Halwa led by Prince Muhammad bin Khuraif Al-Tamimi, Emir of the Emirate of Al-Halwa, and the people of Hotat Bani Tamim led by Ibrahim Al Saud Al-Tamimi and Fawzan Al Murshid Al-Tamimi, and the people of Al-Huraiq led by Turki Al-Hazani, and the people of Na’am led by Zaid bin Hilal all against the forces of the Ottoman Empire led by Ismail Agha, Khalid bin Saud and the tribes with him. The battle ended with the victory of the people of Bani Tamim [1][2][3]
