Byron Smith is a film and television editor who has edited the feature films Running with Scissors (2006)[1][2] and Alice (2022)[3] and the TV series House of Cards (2013–2018)[4] and Mindhunter (2017–2019).[5][6][7] Byron started his award-winning career early, by winning the Student ACE Eddie in 2001.[8] Smith was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series for his work on House of Cards (2014),[9] and nominated for an American Cinema Editors Eddie for Best Edited One Hour Series for Non-Commercial Television for House of Cards (2015).[10]
