Chasing Kaleidorider is a 3D romance role-playing game (RPG) developed by Fizzglee Studio., a subsidiary of Tencent. The game takes place in Terminus, a futuristic metropolis threatened by mysterious entities known as HYSTERIA, which emerge from humanity’s negative consciousness. Players assume the role of NAVIGATOR, a human who possesses KALDEIO VISION, an ability that allows them to perceive Hysteria. By working alongside a group of motorbike-riding warriors called KALDEIO RIDER, players investigate supernatural occurrences, engage in combat, and uncover hidden truths about the world.

In video games, a "navigator" refers to the system or mechanics that allow players to explore and move within the game world. Chasing Kaleidorider's first official trailer released on April 9, 2025. The trailer combines CG animation with in-game footage, giving you a comprehensive look at the world, characters, and gameplay of Chasing Kaleidorider. Not only that, this trailer features with a theme song performed by the famous utaite singer 96Neko

The game features real-time action combat, in an anime-style environment, romance elements, and character development mechanics, allowing players to build relationships with various Kaleido RIDER while exploring the city.

Chasing Kaleidorider has yet to announce a release date, nor has it revealed which platforms it will be released in. It will be available on mobile iOS and Android devices, but it is still unknown if it will find its way to other platforms.

Setting and Story

The game is set in Terminus, a near-future city where the physical world and the Sea of Unconsciousness coexist. Due to an event known as Integration, these two realms have begun to merge, leading to the manifestation of Hysteria—hostile entities born from human negative impulses.

Most people cannot perceive Hysteria, and even Kaleido RIDER can only sense their presence vaguely. However, it is believed that those with Kaleido VISION can see them clearly. The player character, Navigator, acquires this ability after an accident and is subsequently recruited by the Riders to assist in their battles and investigations. As the story unfolds, players gradually uncover the origins of the Riders, the nature of Integration, and their own hidden past.

Gameplay

Players assume the role of the Navigator, a human with the ability to perceive hostile entities called Hysteria, which emerge from humanity's negative consciousness. Key gameplay elements include:

• Combat System – Players engage in fast-paced combat while riding motorbikes, utilizing special weapons to fight against HYSTERIA.
• Character Progression – Kaleido Rider can be recruited, trained, and leveled up. Players can enhance their skills and unlock new abilities.
• Romance and Interaction – Players can increase their intimacy with Riders through story events, personal missions, and date mechanics.
• Exploration and Investigation – The game features an open-world-like structure where players can explore Terminus, take on quests, and gather clues related to the Integration phenomenon.

Characters

The player encounters various Kaleido Rider throughout the story. Examples include:

• Prome – A golden-haired girl with great strength and a mysterious past. She once saved the protagonist and has guarded them for 25 years.
• Nana – A Rider who can foresee the future. She believes staying with the protagonist will lead to her fated death, yet she accepts her destiny and aims to be remembered.
• Adodol – A mischievous yet reliable Rider who investigates past incidents at a school while hiding the presence of Hysteria.
• UC – A guitarist from the band Nemo who uses her strength and passion to inspire hope in the city’s slums.
