Crow's Theatre is a professional non-profit theatre located in the east end of Toronto, Ontario. It is a member of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT).[1] Crow's was founded in 1983, and operated without a permanent venue until 2017, when it opened the Streetcar Crowsnest.[2] This venue, at the intersection of Dundas Street East and Carlaw Avenue, houses a 200-seat auditorium,[2] which has hosted a number of award-winning theatrical productions.[3] Notably, Crow's acclaimed co-production with The Musical Stage Company of "Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812," directed by Chris Abraham won four Dora Mavor Moore Awards in 2024.[4]
Since 2008, Chris Abraham has served as the company's artistic director.[5] Sherrie Johnson has served as Executive Director since 2019.[6] Crow's offers a diverse range of year-round programming, including plays, musicals and family-friendly productions.[7]
