Devrishi (born Rishikesh Pandey, 16 May 1992) is an Indian philosopher, mystic, author, and spiritual researcher. He is the founder of the Sanatan Wisdom Foundation[1] and serves as the Principal Advisor of the Nada Yoga Research Institute (NYRI),[2][3] an organization focused on the scientific and spiritual study of sound and mantra-based treatment.[4][5]

Early life and background

[edit]

Devrishi was born as Rishikesh Pandey in Panna, Madhya Pradesh. He began his career in the film industry as a music composer but later adopted the name Devrishi in alignment with his growing interest in spiritual studies and the science of sound.[6][7][8]

Career

[edit]

Mahagatha

[edit]

In 2024, he launched Mahagatha, a platform for publishing spiritual literature and music based on Sanatan Dharma and Vedic sound traditions.[9] His musical works and books are also distributed through this platform.[10]

Literary works

[edit]

Major published works include:

  • Ramraja[14][15] – A philosophical and poetic work on Lord Rama’s divine kingship in Orchha.
  • Shakari[16][17] – The first volume in the Vikramaditya Series,[18] co-authored with senior IAS officer P Narahari, is a historical narrative based on the life and legacy of the legendary Indian emperor Vikramaditya.[19]

Projects

[edit]

Sadanira

[edit]

Devrishi also initiated the Sadanira Project, a cultural-ecological campaign focused on reviving India’s endangered rivers. The project aims to reconnect people with India’s river heritage through documentaries, music, and public outreach.[20][21][22]

Philosophy

[edit]

Devrishi’s approach integrates elements of devotion (bhakti), sound (nāda), and knowledge (jnana). His work emphasizes the scientific exploration of mantra chanting and vibrational healing through sound frequencies.[23][24]
