Forgotten Island is an upcoming American animated adventure comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures. It is being written and directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado (in Mercado's directorial debut).
The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on September 25, 2026.
Premise

[edit]In April 2025, DreamWorks Animation announced that an animated adventure comedy film written and directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado titled Forgotten Island was in development.[1]
Release
