Ha Jee Yoon is a South Korean novelist and worldbuilder known for creating the expansive fantasy series known as the Pangaea Universe. Her work explores ancient civilizations, memory, consciousness, and the hidden legacies of humanity. She is the author of multiple published novels, including Pangaea: The Search for Xibalba, The Young Ones, and Beijing Man, all of which have been published with official ISBN registration.

Biography

Ha Jee Yoon began her professional writing career in 2020 with the publication of two novels: The Young Ones and Beijing Man. These were followed in 2021 by the critically recognized Pangaea: The Search for Xibalba. Her books have been published by Gasse Publishing.

Her flagship project, the Pangaea Universe, is a fantasy worldbuilding series centered on rediscovering lost civilizations such as Atlantis, Machu Picchu, Longolongko, and others. It combines adventure, mythology, science fiction, and metaphysical themes.

Pangaea has been serialized in major youth-oriented media platforms, including Chosun Ilbo's So-nyun Chosun and JoongAng Ilbo's So-nyun Joongang, where she is currently in her second serialization. In addition, the latest installment, The Sword of Malta: Lightning After 72 Years, is being serialized in English through the US-based JoongAng Ilbo.

In 2015, she was selected by KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency) as one of the authors to represent Korea in Hollywood. During that year, she traveled to Los Angeles and met with drama and film producers to discuss adaptations of her work.

She is also the founder and CEO of Pangaea Core, a creative brand and literary IP company focused on transmedia storytelling through novels, webtoons, and global serialization.

As of 2024, her works are being adapted into webtoons by Korea’s leading webtoon production company, Jaedam Media. A launch on Naver Webtoon is scheduled for late 2024.
