Hartz AI is the artificial intelligence consulting and training division of The Hartz Company Limited, a UK business originally founded in 1999 and based in London. Hartz AI was launched in 2020 by founder Craig Hartzel after he began speaking on AI applications for small and medium-sized enterprises.[1]

History

The Hartz Company Limited was founded in 1999 and registered with Companies House under number 03848015.[1] In 2020, Craig Hartzel launched the Hartz AI division of the company after speaking on AI applications for SMEs at industry events.[2][3]

Services

Hartz AI provides consulting and implementation services in:

  • AI strategy and prompt engineering
  • Large Language Model (LLM) fine-tuning and deployment
  • Business process automation using AI
  • Custom AI workshops and ongoing advisory support

According to the company’s website, these services are tailored for industries including real estate, legal services, and marketing.[4]

Recognition

In July 2024, Hartz AI won the "Micro Business of the Year" award at the Work Avenue Business Awards.[5][2]

Events

In 2024, Hartz AI participated in the Enterprise Expo, an annual business conference held in London by Work Avenue. Founder Craig Hartzel delivered a presentation on applying generative AI to drive growth in small and medium-sized enterprises.[6]

In June 2024, Craig Hartzel also spoke at the PeopleHub “Embracing AI in the World of HR” webinar, hosted by Downtown in Business.[7][8]
