[edit]Development
[edit]On February 6, 2025, it was announced that a sequel and spinoff to Victorious was in development with a working title of Hollywood Arts. Daniella Monet would be reprising her role as Trina Vega, and also serves as an executive producer, alongside Jake Farrow, who worked on the original series, and Samantha Martin. Dan Schneider, who was the creator of Victorious and its spin-off series Sam & Cat, would not be involved in the series.[1]
Casting is underway, with previous cast members from Victorious potentially reprising their roles.[1] In March 2025, Victoria Justice, who starred as Tori Vega in the original series, expressed the possibility of her making a cameo appearance.[2] In the same month, Avan Jogia, who starred as Beck Oliver, expressed openness to reprising his role.[3] In April 2025, Elizabeth Gillies, who starred as Jade West in the original series, also expressed openness to reprising her role.[4] In the short clip shared by Entertainment Tonight on June 9, 2025, Leon Thomas III known for his role as André Harris on Victorious expressed his support for the reboot and teased a possible return. He said he "wouldn't mind" being a part of it, even joking about showing up "as a teacher" at Hollywood Arts. Thomas clearly sounded excited and optimistic, saying he’s looking forward to “seeing how the show goes.”[5]
Filming
[edit]Principal photography began on June 1, 2025, and will end in October 2025 in Los Angeles, California.[6][7]
