Kemberly Karyle Delos Reyes Resentes (born October 22, 2004) is a Filipino singer, broadcaster, writer, and regional vlogger from Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. She began singing at the age of four and became a recording artist representing Visayas and Mindanao under the mentorship of radio executive Robert M. Cabilida, a known balak/poet.[1]

Biography

Kemberly was born in Pagadian City to Gemma Edullantes Delos Reyes and Benjamin Berioso Resentes. She is the eldest of five children: Gemberly, Jamby Kristel, Prince Micho, and Princess Chloe Deles Reyes Resentes.[2]

At age four, she began participating in singing contests. By age eleven, she recorded her debut single "Ang Ganda Kung Ina," which aired on DXRC ENERGY FM Visayas–Mindanao.[3]

Broadcasting & Media

In September 2024, she passed the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) examination and began working as a DJ at Radyo Natin 91.9 Pagadian.[5] She has appeared on local radio across Mindanao and on Net 25's "Kada Umaga."[6] At age 11, Resentes held her first solo concert in Cebu.[7]

Writing & Advocacy

As a feature writer and publisher for Mindanao People’s Press and Philippine People’s Press, her debut article "Local Artists Deserve to Be Heard" promoted the journeys and struggles of grassroots musicians in the southern Philippines.[8]

Education

Resentes completed elementary studies at Santa Lucia Central Elementary School and CAMP ABELON. She then attended Zamboanga del Sur National High School under the Special Program in the Arts (SPA), majoring in music. She was a soprano 1 member of the Himig Chorale, learned piano, read music, and served as a two-year SSG officer while volunteering for environmental youth groups.[9]

Resentes is a brand ambassador for Dolls Cosmetica and Gana Cosmetics. She is active in organizations like Tara Kabataan, Barkada Kontra Droga, and Envimovement (as Pagadian Chapter Vice President) and served as SSG Auditor and Vice President at ZSNHS‑SHS.[11]

Personal life

She is in a relationship with guitarist/vocalist Mark Gifter Penados Nebria of the local band NUFSED.[12]
