Dr. Kevin Sands is an American cosmetic dentist based in Beverly Hills, California.[1][2][3]
Early life and education
[edit]Sands was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.[4] He attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and later received advanced training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.[5][6]
Career
[edit]In 1999, Sands established his private practice in Beverly Hills, California.[4] His clientele has included celebrities such as Kim Kardashian[7], Britney Spears[8], Justin Bieber, Robert Downey Jr.[9], and members of royal families from the Middle East.[10]
His practice offers cosmetic dental services including porcelain veneers, Invisalign, teeth whitening, and full-mouth reconstructions.[11] His work and insights have been featured in media outlets such as GQ, SPY, Delish, and Poosh, where he has discussed topics ranging from the popularity of veneers in Hollywood to natural teeth whitening methods and the effects of diet on dental health.[12][13]
In 2024, Sands' practice received accreditation from the Better Business Bureau, indicating alignment with the organization's standards for business conduct and service.[14]
Philanthropy
[edit]Sands is involved in several charitable initiatives. In 2023, he donated funds to the Asociación Mexicana de Ayuda a Niños con Cáncer de San Luis Potosí, A.C. (AMANC SLP) to assist in the acquisition of an autoclave for pediatric dental care in Mexico.[15]
He also supported the GRACE Smiles: Dental Hygiene Project by donating 100 dental kits to children in Thailand to promote oral health education.[16]
