The Meyer Desert Formation is a geologic Formation in the Dominion Range in the Transantarctic Mountains in the Ross Dependency, Antarctica alongside the Beardmore Glacier. The formation has Fossils Dating back to the Middle Miocene. The formation is a unit of the Sirius Group. The Meyer Desert Formation is named after the Meyer Desert in which it lies.

Fossils found in the Meyer Desert Formation shows signs of plant life in Antarctica. All plant life went extinct during a Pleistocene glaciation. Fossils from insects have been found and is similar to the early Jurassic Mawson Formation.
