From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Money Metals Exchange was founded in 2010 in Eagle, Idaho. Within the Money Metals Exchange depository is the Eagle, Idaho, Sheriff Department.[1][2]

Money Metals Exchange is an online bullion exchange. Working with retail customers in the United States, it buys and sells gold, silver, copper, palladium, platinum, and rhodium. Additionally, clients can store their gold and silver, invest through precious metals IRAs, or borrow against their metals. The online bullion dealer also publishes news and analysis about the precious metals markets and promotes sound money public policy.

Money Metals Exchange was founded by the company's President Stefan Gleason, Mike Gleason, and Clint Siegner. Stefan and Mike are brothers, while Stefan and Clint are brothers-in-law.

Previously, Stefan Gleason served as Vice President of the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation in Springfield, Virginia. Stefan Gleason is a graduate of the University of Florida with a BA degree in Political Science.[3] Gleason has many appearances on U.S. television networks such as CNN, FoxNews, Fox Business, and CNBC. He is also a regular columnist for Seeking Alpha and Investing.com and has been published by the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Mining.com, and TheStreet, among thousands of other national, state, and local newspapers, wire services, and Internet sites. [4][5]

Stefan Gleason founded Money Metals Exchange in 2010 in direct response to some abusive methods of national advertisers of “rare,” collectible, and numismatic coins who mark up their coins to 50%, 100%, or even higher above their actual melt value. Money Metals Exchange believes the average investor should never purchase precious metals that are not priced near their actual melt value.

Money Metals Exchange has processed over $3 billion in trusted, verified, transactions since it started in 2010. Money Metals Exchange has maintained its position as being an industry top seller since 2010 through today.[6]

Money Metals Exchange specializes in precious metals bullion bars, bullion ingots, bullion coins, bullion rounds, and precious metals Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA). They also offer other base metals in the form of bullion bars, coins, and rounds.

Money Metals Exchange has the 10th largest depository in the United States located in Eagle, Idaho, and they are currently constructing what will become the largest depository in the western United States of America.[7][8]

Investopedia has ranked Money Metals Exchange as the best precious metals and bullion dealer in the United States.[9]
