Mutsumi Nishida is a Japanese academic and researcher. He is the president of the University of the Ryukyus (UR).^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5] And he was the professor emeritus of the department of Molecular Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tokyo.^[6]^[7]
