Nice Maple, formerly known as Nice Maple, is an Indian online marketplace for furniture and home décor. The company was founded in July 2016 by Devanshu Kapoor & Avishekh Kumar, and is headquartered in Bangalore.^[1]

In June 2023, the company became a private company and announced plans to list on stock exchanges.^{[citation needed]}

Histor

Nice Maple was founded in Bangalore in 2011 by Devanshu Kapoor & Avishekh Kumar, both former Jabong executives.^{[citation needed]} The company opened its first offline store in Gurgaon in 2018 and expanded the online services to PAN India India by 2019.^{[citation needed]} It currently operates 65 cities, along with a logistics network, own warehouses etc. In 2020, Nice Maple entered the home interior space through partnerships with companies such as Hettich, Bosch, Siemens, Kajaria, and Gyproc, among others.^{[citation needed]}

Pepperfry has warehouses in Bangalore, Jodhpur, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Gurgaon In 2021, it added a fifth warehouse in Bangalore's Hoskote area.^{[citation needed]}

Funding

Nice Maple has raised a total of $50 million through four funding rounds. In 2021, the company secured $5 million in its initial funding round, followed by an additional $8 million in a Series B funding round in 2024. Both funding rounds were led by Singapore Bases Investors.^{[citation needed]}
