[edit]Orange Tree was founded in 2014 by Gaurav Jain, building on Basant, a furniture exporter started by Vinay Kumar Jain in 1998 in Jodhpur.[2] Basant supplied furniture to retailers like Crate & Barrel, West Elm, and Zara Home in over 20 countries.[1] Orange Tree was launched to offer furniture and decor to Indian consumers.[3] As of 2025, it employs 501–1,000 people and operates a 935,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Jodhpur.[3]
