Prashant Pandey (born 08 July 1992) is an Indian lyricist who works in Bollywood films. He shot to fame with the film Laapata Ladies with the song "O Sajni Re" turning a hit song of 2024. Along with Sajni Re he has written one more song “Beda Paar” in Laapata Ladies. He has been writing songs for various short films and for YouTube web series creators before since 2014. Prashant Pandey is connected with composer Ram Sampath and has penned down few songs already for him before Sajni Re. He won his first IIFA award for the song “Sajni Re" in 2025. He has also declared as Best Lyricist of 2024 for the Song "Sajni Re" by Bollywood Hungama. Pandey has also won Iconic Gold Award 2025 and The Clef Music Award 2024 for best lyricist for the song Sajni Re.

Career
[edit]Prashant started his career as an Lyricist with few YouTube webseries creators in Delhi while working as a software engineer. He made his debut as a lyricist in the Bollywood film Laapata Ladies directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan Productions.
