Rakesh Sethulingam, also known by his stage name Rap Rakesh, is an Indian rapper and YouTuber from Tiruchirappalli, India.
Career
[edit]Inspired by Pettai Rap, Rakesh composed a song in 2009, performing it at IIT Saarang and winning first prize.[1] In 2014, he released the song "Munne Vaada," which focuses on women empowerment.[2] In 2016, Rakesh released the music video "12 AM (Women Empowerment)," which depicted the story of a woman who was robbed and murdered by kidnappers. Actor Vijay Sethupathi released the video on his social media accounts.[3][2]
