Early Life and Education Sachin Katyal was born on 20 June 1979 in Raikot, a town in the Ludhiana district of Punjab, India. He began his early schooling in Raikot. In 1990, following his father's transfer to Lalru, his family relocated permanently to Ambala City, Haryana.

Katyal continued his education at S.A. Jain Senior Secondary School, where he chose to pursue commerce after completing 10th grade despite scoring only 47%. Facing pressure from friends and family to shift to the arts stream, he remained determined and was supported by his sister, who encouraged him to follow his interest in commerce.
