Stefan Krause is a German executive who built his career in the electric vehicle industry. He was a former executive of Deutche Bank, BMW, Faraday Future, and Moov. He was also a co-founder of the startup Canoo.

Biography

Krause was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, where his father worked for an automobile manufacturer.[1][2] He was educated at a German school called Colegio Andino before he relocated to Germany and obtained a degree in Business Administration at Julius Maximilians University.[3] He then started working for BMW in 1987.

He then transferred to Deutsche Bank, where "he had cut assets by about a third and engineered the takeover of retail lender Deutsche Postbank AG" within a year of his employment.[4]
