Tarran T1 Pro
[edit]The Tarran T1 Pro is an electric cargo bicycle designed for urban transport, developed by the bikes' manufacturer Tarran[1]. First showcased at Eurobike 2024, the bike has been noted by cycling and technology media for its landing gear stabilization system and adaptive suspension.[2][3]
Design and Technology
[edit]The Tarran T1 Pro features an aluminum frame and a mid-drive motor for load-carrying.[4] One of its design elements is a landing gear system[5], which assists in maintaining balance when stationary, and under heavy cargo loads.[6]
The bike also includes a 5.2’’smart display that provides ride data, including speed and battery status[7]. It features a battery system that is reported to give a range of 200 KM.[6] Additionally, the cargo space is configurable, estimated to carry upto 220 kg of weight. [8][9] The T1 Pro also incorporates features like LED lighting, blind-spot detection, and automatic braking assistance, for urban cycling.[2]
