The Special Operations Division (Mem-Mem) in the Israel Defense Force is Israel’s most elite and secretive defense unit, responsible for solving the country’s most critical security challenges.[1] [2].
The Mem-Mem Division operates through a triangular structure—combining intelligence, cutting-edge technology (Unit 81)[3] and elite operations (Sayeret Matkal)[4].
The Mem-Mem has executed some of Israel’s most daring missions and has been awarded over 30 Israel Defense Prize[5].
At the head of the Mem-Mem Division stands an officer with the rank of Brigadier General[6]. [7]
