Francis Charles Marsano (September 18, 1936 – November 30, 2024) was an American judge, lawyer and politician. He served as a Republican member of the Maine House of Representatives.

Life and career

Marsano was born in Bangor, Maine, the son of Alton Marsano and Gertrude Mannette. He attended Bowdoin College, earning his B.A. degree in 1958. He also attended the University of Michigan Law School, earning his Juris Doctor degree in 1961.[2] He was a second lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve.[3]

Marsano served in the Maine House of Representatives[4] from 1986 to 1992. After his service in the House, Governor John R. McKernan Jr. nominated Marsano to serve as a justice of the Maine Superior Court, serving until 2001.[3]

Death

Marsano died on November 30, 2024, in Bangor, Maine, at the age of 88.[3][5]
