George Wright is a Jamaican Politician and Member of Parliament for Westmoreland Central Representing the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP).
Political career
[edit]He resigned from the Jamaica Labour Party in June 2021 possibly due to assault allegations levied against him by his wife.[1][2] He previously represented the Division of Petersfield in 2016 after the local Government elections. Then ran for Member of Parliament in 2020 defeating the PNP Candidate Dawyne Vaz. He returned to The Jamaica Labour Party on Tuesday January 28,2025.
