Hannes Amesbauer (born 18 April 1981) is an Austrian politician of the Freedom Party. He has been a member of the National Council since 2017,[1] and was a member of the Landtag of Styria from 2010 to 2017.[2]

In August 2023 Amesbauer referred to the Documentation Centre of Austrian Resistance as a "pseudo-scientific ideological institution";[3] in January 2025 Handelsgericht Wien, the first instance court, ruled this to be tolerable.[3]
