Happy is the debut studio album[a] by South Korean singer Jin of BTS, released on November 15, 2024, through Big Hit Music.
Background and release
[edit]In 2022, Jin debuted as a solo artist with his song "The Astronaut".[1] Shortly after the song's release, Jin enlisted for South Korea's mandatory military service, serving until July 2024.[2] Happy was announced on October 14, with Big Hit Music confirming that the album would contain six tracks, including pre-released single "I'll Be There" and title track "Running Wild".[3] The album contains collaborations with Gary Barlow of English pop group Take That and Wendy of K-pop group Red Velvet.[4]

Notelist
[edit]- ^ Traditionally, a release that contains four to six tracks is considered an extended play (EP). Big Hit Music marketed Happy as an album prior to its release and after the fact.[citation needed]
