Hell House LLC: Lineage is an upcoming American horror film written and directed by Stephen Cognetti. It serves as the fifth and final installment in the Hell House LLC franchise.[1] Produced by Joe Bandelli and starring Elizabeth Vermilyea, Searra Sawka, and Mike Sutton.[2]
Synopsis
[edit]The film is about the continuity of the storyline of Vanessa Shepard, portrayed by Elizabeth Vermilyea, who is haunted by visions and nightmares in the town of Abaddon. As mysterious deaths occur around her, she uncovers connections to the Abaddon Hotel and the Carmichael Manor, delving into decades of unexplained murders.

Production
[edit]In July 2024, a fifth installment titled Hell House LLC: Lineage was announced with a teaser trailer.[3] Filming began on October 29, 2024.[4][5] In an interview, Cognetti said that the film is a non-found footage film unlike to its predecessor. He said:
Yes, non-found footage, and I think it will be the scariest of them all.[6]
He also add that the best way to experience the final chapter is to watch it in theaters.[7]
Marketing
[edit]On June 3, 2025, another teaser trailer was released and revealing the returning characters from other installment in the franchise including the Carmichael siblings from Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor as well as Elizabeth Vermilyea as Vanessa Shephard who was resurrected in Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire.[7]
Release
[edit]The film is scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States in August 20, 2025,[8] before releasing on Shudder in October.[9]
