Muhammad Hud bin Muhammad Ismail (born 6 April 2005), better known as Hud Ismail, is a Singaporean professional footballer who plays as a left winger or left back for Singapore Premier League club Geylang International.[2]

After playing for Singapore Cricket Club in the 2023 SFL 1, Hud signed for Geylang International's under-21 team for the upcoming 2024-25 U21 season.[3]

Hud opened his goalscoring account against Hougang United's under-21s scoring the second goal in a 3-3 draw. On 28 June 2024, Noor Ali named Hud on the senior bench for Geylang's league match against Lion City Sailors.[4] Hud made his professional debut the next month on 6 July 2024 against Albirex Niigata (S), coming on for Vincent Bezecourt.[5][6]

From 19 August 2024, Hud went on a goalscoring streak for three games scoring against Lion City Sailors, SAFSA, and BG Tampines Rovers.[7][8] He scored his first brace against Hougang United on 8 November 2024 in a 2-0 victory.[9]

On 2 February 2025, Hud was handed his first professional start in the Singapore Cup against Balestier Khalsa. He starred for 62 minutes before being substituted out for Naufal Azman.[10]

International career

On 30 August 2024, the Football Association of Singapore announced their provisional squad for the 2025 AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers which included Hud.[11] He was selected for the final squad and made his first appearance for the national team at youth level on 27 September 2024 as a second half substitute against Jordan.
