Justin Aversano (born 23 September 1992) is an American multidisciplinary artist, creative director, CEO, and portrait photographer.
Works
[edit]His work often talks about the human experience, using photography as a medium to capture and express the stories and emotions of his subjects. In 2021, Aversano created his Twin Flames series, "A photographic exploration of the phenomenology of twins".[1]
Twin Flames
[edit]Debuting in 2018 as a collection of traditional photographs,[2] in 2021 Twin Flames went on to become the first non-fungible token (NFT) lot to be offered in a Photographs auction.[3] Twin Flames #83, Bahareh & Farzaneh, accompanied by Twin Flames Full Physical Collection, 2017-2018 sold at auction for $1.1 million. It is the most expensive photograph NFT ever sold.[4]
