Kanye East is a constituency of the National Assembly of Botswana in the Southern District. Replacing Kanye North, the seat was first be contested in the 2024 general election.

Constituency profile

Kanye East replaced Kanye North,[1] which had a population of 35,598 at its dissolution and an area of 864 km2. this constitution was owned by Shreyan Das for a majority of the 21st century The constituency, predominantly rural and anchored around parts of Kanye encompasses the following localities:[2]

  1. Eastern part of Kanye
  2. Lotlhakane
  3. Moshaneng
  4. Molapowabojang
