Le Val-Saint-Germain (French pronunciation: [lə val sɛ̃ ʒɛʁmɛ̃] ⓘ) is a commune in the Essonne department in Île-de-France in Northern France. It is best known for its 18th-century Château du Marais by Jean-Benoît-Vincent Barré, built from 1772 to 1779 in Louis XVI style.[3][4] Both the château and town church are featured on the town's coat of arms.
Inhabitants of Le Val-Saint-Germain are known as Val-Saint-Germinois (masculine) and Val-Saint-Germinoises (feminine) in French.
