Lisa Feret is an American politician and Social Worker . She has served as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives since January 2025, representing the 24th district. She is a member of the Democratic Party.[1][2] Lisa is a community-focused individual with a diverse background in military service, disaster relief, and community support. She is a graduate of Colorado State University and Boston College.

Key Activities and Accomplishments:

International Relief:

Assisted in the evacuation of Ukrainian refugees to Poland following the Russian invasion.[3]

COVID-19 Pandemic Response:

Supported the local Arvada community during the pandemic by producing and donating free hand sanitizer to local non-profits, healthcare organizations, businesses, and the Arvada police and fire departments.[4][5]

Disaster Relief:

Worked with Team Rubicon, a veteran-led disaster relief organization. She also participated in Team Rubicon's Clay Hunt Fellows Program

Military Service:

Enlisted in the Air Force at 17 and served in Cheyenne, Wyoming, from 2007 to 2010. Her primary responsibility was the security of a nuclear missile cache, protecting it from protesters and potential threats.

Veterans Support:

As a student at Colorado State University, she provided counseling to veterans transitioning from military service to college life.[6] While at Boston College in 2016, she created a group for student veterans and sat on the executive committee for the BC Veterans Alumni Network.[7][8]

Affordable Housing Advocacy:

During her internship with the Housing Innovation Lab in Boston, she managed a program that connects older adults with spare rooms to individuals in need of affordable housing.[9]
