Mecistocephalus apator is a species of centipede in the Mecistocephalidae family. It was described in 1920 by American myriapodologist Ralph Vary Chamberlin.[1][2]
Description
[edit]This species can approach 35 mm in length, with 49 pairs of legs. It is mainly reddish-yellow, orange in the anterior region, and has a blackish head.[1]
Distribution
[edit]The species occurs in Micronesia and Sulawesi.[2]
