Robin Charles George Sidebotham (8 April 1956 – 26 April 2024) was a British rock guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer.[1] He achieved success during 1985 with the song "Heartline", which peaked at #68 in the UK Singles Chart and #92 in the US Hot 100 (#40 in the Mainstream Rock chart).[2][3] The single was featured on George's debut album Dangerous Music (1984).[4] Born in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire (nowadays West Midlands), George collaborated with several artists during his career including David Byron, Phil Lynott, Glenn Hughes, Robert Plant, John Wetton and Magnum.[1] Born in 1956,[5][4] George died on 26 April 2024, at the age of 68.[6]
