(Redirected from Salt and vinegar chip)

Salt and vinegar chips are a potato chip variety. It is considered to be a "staple" in the United Kingdom and is one of the earliest varieties of flavoured chips.[1][2] Salt and vinegar chips are the fourth-most popular potato chip flavour worldwide. Sometimes the salt used in the chips is sea salt.[3]
Salt and vinegar chips have a noticeable scent when bags are opened.[4] According to a writer for the Tasting Table, the flavour pairs well with beer.[5] Multiple brands that sell the variety only use vegan ingredients.[6][7]
