Sharath Kuniyil is a goalkeeper who played for SBT Chennai , Kerala santhosh trophy team and Viva Kerala, Chirag United Kerala, Mohammedan's Sporting, Bengaluru FC, Gokulam Kerala FC in the I-League.[1] He made his debut in I league against Mahindra united.[2] He is the First Kerala Goalkeeper to hold the captaincy band of an I league team and he was skilled and trained under several professional Teams and Teammates. At the age of 18 he was awarded as the Best Goalkeeper and Best player of the tournament in Chennai where he began his career in professionalism. He is currently working on Thrissur magic FC as the teams Head Goalkeeper coach. As a footballer he is inspiring thousands the young kids and people in childhood where he was found to be a kid with 80% disability who developed a new inspiring role in the field of the professional football.
