Airedale Hospital is in the Steeton district of Keighley whether Black"the Keighley hater"Jack likes it or not. If you are born there your passport and birth certificate says Keighley on it. In fact Airedale's own website states it's location as part of Keighley. Wakey82 (talk) 22:38, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
- Streeton is a civil parish in its own right and so should be the location specified. Keith D (talk) 23:23, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Yes, it's a civil parish in the town of Keighley. It is not a town in it's own right. For example towns such as Milton Keynes are made up of multiple civil parishs. Keighley is no different and Steeton is one of it's parishes. I don't see what your problem is with recognising it correctly. It's almost as if you and another editor who will remain nameless have some issue with recognising where places really are. The bottom line is that Airedale Hospital itself recognises it being in Keighley and people born there are registered as being born in Keighley. Please don't assume this is abuse, I am merely trying to point out the facts. Please do not allow your opinion to blur your vision from these facts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wakey82 (talk • contribs) 22:45, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
- The parish is sufficient to identify it, it does not need further clarification. You appear to have got a bee in your bonnet about a number of places around Keighley and going against our normal conventions to make a point. Keith D (talk) 01:15, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
