[edit]The Commando dagger badge image in the article, lacks information beyond its caption. It would be informative if some information was added to it. It seems to be the badge worn by British Army Commandos in particular, until recently. It is noticeable in the photographs at these links http://www.eliteukforces.info/gallery/misc/7-Commando-Battery-Royal-Artillery.php http://www.eliteukforces.info/gallery/sond-chara/sond-chara-24.php and at the top of the page here http://www.army.mod.uk/royalengineers/units/28645.aspx This could be mentioned with the image, as well as the image being added to a British Army article, such as British Army uniform https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Army_uniform Dreddmoto (talk) 15:46, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
- I think the article explains that this is the badge that people are allowed to wear on their uniform if they pass the course. Incidentally, RAF and RN personnel do this course as well (though admittedly it's mostly Army). The thing about badges is that they can only be used "to illustrate the object in question" (see: [1] Licensing details) and so I would not personally use it anywhere else (eg: British_Army_uniform) --Bye for now (PTT) 16:16, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
Maybe its caption could be edited to show that it is or was, the badge worn by British Army Commandos in particular? That would be informative for people who are new to this subject and article. Dreddmoto (talk) 15:08, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
