Credit dispute on "Starlight"

[edit]

As people may have noticed, I have been going back and forth with an IP about a specific credit for one Max Borghetti on the song "Starlight". We've also had some discussion on My Talk Page about the matter. I'm just adding this section on the Talk Page here to let any future editors know what I've found so far, and my actions so far. The IP claims the song "Starlight" interpolates a sample from another song called "Maniaca" by Abraham Mateo, the sources they linked for this claim (see my Talk Page) are all either fan edited Wiki's or Wikipedia articles from other languages. The latter have all been edited to include this claim by IP's that either closely or exactly match that of the anonymous IP editing this page. On top of that, the song "Maniaca" by Abraham Mateo was released a year after "Starlight". I won't claim to be a musical expert, so I could be wrong in future, but right now I see no reason to include Max Borghetti's name in this article, or any of the other Wikipedia articles, and I have removed the name from them all until proper proof can be shown that this credit should be included.
