Store brands
[edit]Is Dynex still extant? I never see products with this label in-store any more.
Several cables, brackets and other accessories are still marketed under the Dynex name on BestBuy.com.
Possibly noteworthy, Insignia won top prize in Good, Cheap and Fast's 2020 Value Awards:

Proposed split
[edit]I am proposing splitting the Canadian information from this article to a new article, Best Buy Canada. The Canadian division has a separate head office, logo, and operates independently from the American business. This would be similar to how Walmart Canada is separated from Walmart. Any comments or objections? The comment period will be left open for one week since the timestamp on the signature. Cheers, Daylen (talk) 17:47, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
Best Buy and "Retail Equation"
[edit]There should be a question under controversy describing Best Buy's use of the company "Retail Equation" AKA "Apriss Retail". Retail Equation is a company that Best Buy has used to override it's own return policy and deny customer returns and even ban customers from being able to make future returns with no prior warnings. It began using them in 2001 and it is not clear whether or not it continues to do so as of October 2021. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:AF20:BA30:8DC8:CFDD:FCA7:EF0C (talk) 11:55, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
- An anonymous editor inserted plagiarized text from https://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/investigations/nbc-7-responds/best-buy-settles-633500-case-over-return-policies/2525467/ into the article, and while this is a violation of WP:COPYVIO, this source could be used as a basis for a section on Best Buy's return policies. —Locke Cole • t • c 15:05, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Please remove this phrase:
In 1981, the Roseville, Minnesota, Sound of Music location, at the time
and replace it with this:
In 1981, the Roseville location, at the time
(Note the piped link.) The previous sentence talks about all of their locations being in Minnesota, so readers will expect Roseville to be in Minnesota. And the company name can be omitted, since this wouldn't be talking about other companies' locations. 123.51.107.94 (talk) 05:23, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
