Platform 4 as possible Eastern Terminus for Swanage Railway
[edit]Does the layout of the junction west of Bournemouth station allow a train to arrive from Branksome, Stop at Platform 4 and reverse back west? If so it could be a more popular terminus for the Swanage Railway, and allow SR to run a train serving Suburban stations in the Poole area to link passengers to the Cross-Country train. At present SWT operates what is effectively a once an hour service from stations west of Bournemouth (two trains, 10 minutes from eachother) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.124.254.235 (talk) 22:32, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
