What does this mean?
[edit]In the history section, "Cheltenham became a township of the first class in 1900." This needs to be clarified or dropped. ike9898 14:20, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
By 1900, Cheltenham’s population exceeded 6,000, and in accordance with state law, Cheltenham was incorporated as a First Class Township. The first ever Board of Commissioners meeting was conducted on March 5, 1900. Before that, local government consisted of nothing more than a few road supervisors and an area police constable. Cheltenham, Pennsylvania
[edit]Right now Cheltenham, Pennsylvania redirects here. Eventually this should be replaced by an article for the CDP of Cheltenham (the subsection of the township). All the other subdivisions of the township now have their own (small) articles. ike9898 14:24, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
