Coös County

[edit]

Is this the same name as Coös? We say this name means white pines and that their name means small pines, but these are short words for their meaning and I can see how one could get confused. Soap 00:59, 23 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Seem to be original and derivative words from the people of the white pines. Ksherin (talk) 03:55, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of needs more citations.

[edit]

I am not and expert but article now has 30 citations, covers indigenous history and present status focusing on state of New Hampshire. Independent Wikipedia editor review requested for verification of adequate references, ‘removal of banner which says lacks references’ and tone vis a vis neutral view of past and present.
