The result of the proposal was move per request to Danish Kings of England
.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 14:19, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
House of Denmark → Danish Kings of England or Danish Dynasty of England or House of Knytlinga or anything else — I don't think it's accurate to call this family by this name? Is there even any source that say they were called the House of Denmark. We can't just make up house names. Maybe Danish Kings of England would be better since this article isn't even talking about the entire family line; it's mainly talking about the members that ruled England. For example the intro "The House of Denmark refers to the Danish kings of England, who ruled England from 1013 to 1014 and 1016 to 1042." The only mentioning that they ruled Denmark, Norway or Sweden seems more like a sidenote than anything. There no origin section and no mention of Harold Bluetooth or Gorm the Old or Harthacnut I of Denmark. It's clearly talking about the Danish kings of England.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 05:05, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
- PS don't close this request move without informing me first. I just want to see what people think.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 09:49, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
- Support Current title is clearly anglocentric, see WP:BIAS. What about Danish kings of e.g. Norway, Sweden or Iceland? PatGallacher (talk) 14:32, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
- Please state which you support.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 17:57, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
- Support clearly UK-bias. "House of Denmark" would naturally mean the ruling house of Denmark, or a parliamentary house of Denmark. Prefer "Danish Kings of England". 76.66.194.128 (talk) 05:11, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- Support "Danish Kings of England" as more relevant and accurate. Richard75 (talk) 19:16, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Merge
[edit]This and House of Knýtlinga should be merged and include this family's realm outside of England.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 00:21, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
- Support, and more specifically I think this article should be merged into the House of Knýtlinga. The "House of Denmark" seems to me to be just an anglocentric invention describing the same royal house. Thhist (talk) 14:32, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Support, (for Thhist's reason) and I volunteer to do it if there is a consensus. Richard75 (talk) 17:13, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
This isn't something that to be voted on. I merely place the comment so someone would do that. Richard75 you can merge it if you want.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 21:06, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
