Deleted Issue Relating Contributor having close connection to subject Identified by Maintenance Template Tags
[edit]This issue was raised regarding updates made in 2020. I've reviewed updates for bias, and I've made improvements and added quite a few citations. I don't have close connection to subject, I'm not receiving any compensation so I think deleting this tag is warranted. If there are issues, please let me know. Thanks.
Deleted Notability Issue Identified by Maintenance Template Tags
[edit]I'm tackling the Maintenance template issues identifed one by one. I've added at least 7 new credible citations, so I'm removing the Notability tag. The latest citation points to Trent University'l Archive of Carley's working papers, letters etc. If there are comments on this, I'd appreciate any specfics. Thanks. Deleted 1 Issues Identified by Maintenance Template Tags
[edit]I'm tackling the 3 issues identifed one by one. I've added at least 6 new credible citations, so I'm removing the tag that additional citations required for living persons. Addressing 3 Issues Identified by Maintenance Template Tags
[edit]I'm looking to address the 3 issues identified by the Maintenance Template Tags. I'm not sure if I am better to do this via one entry or better to do them one at a time.
Please advise me if this addresses the issues, or point me to how I can do so. (I'm pinging editor to get your feedback on what I've outlined here User:AntiDionysius )
1. Biography of living person needs additional citations: I have added 4 additional citations. I think the external citation issue is addressed now. If there are particular facts needing citations, please let me know. 2. A major contributor has a close connection to Authur: I know the author but Im not a close connection. I'm recently retired professional, and want to be involved with wiki editing. I'm not paid and have no organizational connection. I'm doing updates in response to a group request for someone to help with Carley's entry. 3. Meeting notability guidelines: the information on the page is verifiable. I've added multiple citations to support the awards and productions. I haven't seen any challenges to the info. Carley's work has been and continues to be produced extensively in canada and received multiple nominations and awards so I think the page is noteworthy. His play Canadian Rajah is getting multiple producitons in Canada and Malaysia. He is also active in the arts community in several regards. The 10 minute play component of Port Hope Arts festival continues since started.
Please advise if this addresses the 3 issues or how I can do so. If it's better to create 3 separate "Talk" entries, let me know. Carlwgriffin (talk) 17:05, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
