I added details about Neikirk’s baseball career. Because a separate article of him as a baseball player would end up being merged here anyway, I went ahead and placed the info here, in this wikiarticle. Since his having been a baseball player is so often mentioned as part of his introduction before a match, I think that it is important that that part of his life be represented. Also, this is a biography and his having played ball is a milestone in his life. I hope that it does not overly violate the WikiProject Professional wrestling’s guidelines. Any comments or suggestions, please say so here before reverting, or contact me at my talk page. Thanks! — SpikeToronto 06:54, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
- The article should cover his entire career, which definitely includes his baseball career. The information you added should be very useful in the upcoming Good Article review. Thanks! GaryColemanFan (talk) 16:23, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Overall this is a good article, though I do have a couple concerns:
- His official website was a geocities site?
- Ref #20 (title history) shows up as a deadlink, though it looks like that's due to a site reconstruction, so fixing the link should be somewhat easy.
- Any information on his transfer form baseball to wrestling (1999-2002)?
- I cleaned up the baseball section myself since that's my expertise.
I'll put the article on hold and pass it when the issues are fixed. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 01:13, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for your patience. Yes, his old website was a Geocities site. He then bought his own domain name. I have replaced Reference 20; unfortunately, some information was removed, but the important facts are still sourced. I haven't been able to find anything about the transition years other than the fact that he was training to become a professional wrestler. Thanks for your help with the baseball section. Please let me know about anything else that needs some attention. Thanks, GaryColemanFan (talk) 17:22, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm still not a ban of the cube statistics, because they add nothing to the article. I'm not going to edit war over them though, so in spite of that the article passes. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 20:34, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
- You know, Wizardman, when I added the stuff about his baseball career way back in December, I only added his batting stats. I haven’t got ’round to adding his fielding stats. Any suggestions on how to add them without making the whole baseball section overly long? While my primary interest in him was as a baseball player, I do not want to make the baseball section overly long since he is no longer of that world and had such a brief baseball career. Any ideas how to best combine both his fielding and batting stats without doubling the length of that section? Thanks! — SpikeToronto 05:33, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Hm, I'd say unless he was somewhat known in the minors for his fielding, don't worry about those stats. unlike possibly an infielder's, a catcher's fielding stats don't really add anything to our understanding of him. If you can find a bit on his rate of throwing base stealers out, that could be something. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 05:04, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the advice! I actually do remember finding some stats for his throwing out base stealers. I’ll track it down and add it sometime over the weekend. (If I forget, pester me about it!) I only wish I could find something about his segue into wrestling from baseball. I assume that part of the time gap was spent at a wrestling academy. But, I’d like to find something that discusses what drew him to wrestling, etc., but have found nothing. I’ve struck out! (Pun intended.) Thanks again! — SpikeToronto 23:41, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
