The current source-situation is not WP:N-great, [1][2] was the best I found in the current article, are there any better? Deadline is ok per WP:RSPDEADLINE. I think this [3] is a different Ella Thomas. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:07, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace

[edit]

I may have stumbled into something more complicated than I realized. However, in order for Ella Thomas to have *not* been born during the Ethiopian administration of Eritrea, which ended in 1993, she must have been no older than 12 for her role of "Godiva" in Choker (2005) or 13 for her roles of "Restaurant Waitress" in All In (2006) and "Ethiopian Woman" in 7th Heaven (2006). By age 16, she would be an FBI agent in CSI: NY (2009). From this, isn't it reasonable to infer that she was born at least before 1993 (as in, would it be *not* original research to infer that)? @JFHJr ping, though I see from your talk page some sources consider Eritrean independence being in 1991— I just went from what the Eritrea article said for de jure, and for my argument I'll use that unless precedent somewhere says to do otherwise Placeholderer (talk) 17:28, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please, no original research. Please provide a reliable source stating directly what you propose. I'm not saying it's wrong. I am saying it needs a basis that doesn't require users/editors to do the math. Cheers. JFHJr () 03:06, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The original research question is whether or not it can reasonably be expected that a 13-year-old would or would not be cast as "Ethiopian Woman" in a movie Placeholderer (talk) 15:06, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
