Untitled

[edit]

My name is Dylan Newcomb and I am editing this page on Extracellular Fluid for a project at Waynesville High School under the supervision of Mr.Travis Bohrer (User:tbohrer74).

Proposed merge with Interstitial fluid

[edit]

It's the major part of extracellular fluid and is discussed extensively on target page; there is also a lot of duplicated material there. Iztwoz (talk) 19:17, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Transcellular fluid

[edit]

Small stub - is component of target page and better presented there Iztwoz (talk) 21:06, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Interstitium

[edit]

I got re-directed to this page from interstitium, but there is only interstitial in the article. I wanted to find out about interstitium because of this article (http://www.newser.com/story/257129/newly-identified-human-organ-serves-as-shock-absorber.html?utm_source=8at8&utm_medium=email&utm_content=1636578345455706803&utm_campaign=20180328), which cites a New Scientist article, which does not use the term. Time magazine also uses the term: http://time.com/5217273/human-body-organ-interstitium/ .Kdammers (talk) 15:51, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Declaration of Interstitium as an Organ

[edit]

While it's not used in that way in the paper cited (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-018-23062-6), many sources are calling it a newly discovered organ. https://twitter.com/LiveScience/status/978587252677689344/ http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2018/03/27/interstitium-new-organ-human-body/ and https://www.livescience.com/62128-interstitium-organ.html as some examples. Perhaps a new "Organ" section on this page or a separate page detailing this usage would be appropriate? Adeckofcards (talk) 18:16, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
